One-to-One Training / Mentoring / Consultancy

I provide one-to-one training, mentoring or consultancy for event photographers who would prefer a more personal approach than classroom-based training, who want to develop their skills following formal training (or before dipping their toes in the water) or who are unable to make fixed training dates. This can be at your home, studio or other location for personal training, or attending your event in a hands-on role with you, guiding you through the function from set-up to pack-up.

The cost for this service is a very reasonable £295.00 – either for training (10:00 am to 4:00 pm) or for mentoring at an evening event (5:00 pm to 10:00 pm). Mileage is charged at £0.38 per mile and is the only expense. Event Photography for Profit Training

The 'Event Photography for Profit' Training Course, written and co-hosted by myself, is run in conjunction with System Insight, the Event Photography Specialists. The course is held at De Vere's New Place Hotel and Conference Centre in Shirrell Heath, Hampshire, which is close to the M3 and M27. Discounts are available to delegates who require accommodation.

The day starts at 9:30am and finishes at 6:00pm; a lunch is provided, as well as tea and coffee throughout the day.

The course size is kept to between 8 and 20 delegates if possible. The aim is to ensure that every delegate goes away with all they need in order to start making money from their next event. Although not needed, delegates are more than welcome to bring their own cameras.

Course Contents

The course covers the non-photographic elements of event photography including sales & marketing, finding events and essential equipment amongst many others.

Advice is also given on what software to use and even how to get fed for free at an event!
